Gus' Tackle & Nets is a locally owned family business, Trawls by Gus opened 31 years ago with Gus Maggiore Jr. and his parents Gus and Dolly Maggiore Sr.

In 1989 Gus expanded the business to include a complete line of salt and fresh water fishing supplies.  Located in Slidell, LA we are just minutes from Lake Pontchartrain, Lake Borgne, Irish Bayou, and Lake Catherine.

We carry top brands such as Shakespeare, St. Croix, Shimano, Falcon, Ugly Stik, and All Star. We also carry Shimano, Abugarcia, Penn, Okuma, Pflueger reels, and Calcutta clothing. Come in and browse through thousands of items in the largest fishing product inventory in the area.
